Carrie DeForest, 54, of Peoria, passed away at 12:28 a.m. on Friday, August 13, 2010, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born in Detroit, MI on June 3, 1956, a daughter of Walter and Irene (Rock) DeForest. They preceded her in death, along with one brother, George DeForest.
Carrie is survived by her sons, Charles Michael, John Harvey and Elvis Lee Nagy, all of Peoria; brother, Dale DeForest of Pekin; sisters, Darla Hittle of Peoria, Penny Myrtle DeForest of Kewanee and Delores DeForest of Pekin; seven grandchildren; four nieces and nephews; and four great nieces and nephews.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed playing PlayStation and being with her family.
A celebration of Carrie’s life will be at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, August 17, 2010, at Glen Oak Park. Memorial contributions may be made to her family at 1532 W. Kettelle Street, Peoria 61605.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Clary Funeral Home, 428 West McClure Avenue, in Peoria.
